Drink more water or you might die.
Mard Koh Dard Nahi Hota is a tribute from Vasan Bala to the Action films everyone grew up watching and what a tribute it is. MKDNH proves why content is the key to a great movie. Abhimanyu Dassani breaks the cliches and legs with his debut role which is certainly an out of the box role for a star kid.

I was very happy to see that Radhika madan's character was not used just as a prop, her action scenes are spot on and her acting equally commendable. Mahesh Manjrekar is hilarious Surya's grandfather who might just be the coolest grandfather ever, with his hilarious one-liners and quirky philosophies. Gulshan devaiya is in a league of his own in this movie. Stealing the show Every time he performs. Gulshan plays the role of Surya's idol - Master Mani and the Cliche Psychotic Jimmy. Gulshan's comic timing is spot on and easily has the best dialogues. "Ayee ayee itna chillata kaiko hai ? Chup rehna. Dikhta nahi yeh residential area hai" is pure gold. Vasan Bala depicts the Kung Fu movies perfectly with amazing direction.
Another plus point is that not one character in the movie is left unexplored, everyone is given a backstory and the way it is portrayed is hilarious. However, the film uses the slow-motion fight scene effect way too much but more than makes up for it with its amazing stunts. The soundtrack is hilarious and just oozes coolness. Rappan Rapi Rap is a personal favourite of mine. MKDNH portrays a picture similar to Scott Pilgrim Vs The World with it's very quirky and attractive pop culture references.
So, overall I would give Mard Koh Dard Nahi Hota 4.5/5 for a hilarious screenplay, engaging storyline, great background score and well Gulshan Devaiya. Easily the coolest Bollywood movie to come out in recent years.
