Simmba Movie Poster

Unlike the beloved Singham, Simmba is an orphaned boy from Shivgad who grows up to be a cop for the sole purpose of making money through bribes. Like the previous Singham duology, Simbaa packs an even bigger punch. Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh come together to create a sure shot super hit.  Ranveer Singh, after his amazing role as Khilji, takes on a lighter and funnier role. His enthusiasm and hilarious one-liners steal the show every time. Sara Ali Khan is just a cameo in the movie where she is introduced and disappears from the movie for about an hour.
Rohit Shetty doesn't miss his mark, hitting all the high notes we have come to expect of his comedy. The screenplay is very good with one-liners and great monologues. Sonu Sood looks threatening in the antagonist seat but couldn't match his iconic role of " Chedi Singh ".
The soundtrack was a bit of a disappoint with no noteworthy songs. However, the stellar cameo of Ajay Devgn more than makes up for it. The whistles and cheers for his entrance, prove the audiences love for him as he does what he does best, beat criminals to a pulp.
Rohit Shetty leaves  2018 with a bang and a cameo from a future addition who does seem " S(oo)r Veer ". So overall i would give this movie a 3.5/5 for it's a great comedy, hilarious screenplay and good performances from the entire cast. Happy New Year!
