What. A. Movie. Right from the opening sequence to the last second,  I was on the edge of my seats totally oblivious as to what would happen next. This hilarious and mysterious rollercoaster is definitely one of the defining movies of the year. With a seemingly easy plot, before watching the movie it seemed that yes even if it would be an interesting movie, it wouldn't shatter expectations. But from the minute it commenced, I was hooked. Andhadhun is directed by Sriram Raghavan and he has done a phenomenal job in creating this masterpiece. The rich cast of this movie includes Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, Radhika Apte and Anil Dhawan. Ayushmann Khurrana has done justice to his role and he has excellently portrayed a blind pianist ( For those of who have watched the movie, I cannot give away the spoiler, right?). Tabu plays the wife of the esteemed actor Pramod Sinha and she has brought a sense of unexpectedness and her actions can be seen as totally unpredictable. Radhika Apte has once again proved her versatility with this movie by portraying the love interest of Ayushmann Khurrana.
The film features a unique theme which I don't think I have ever seen. They have taken scenes accompanied by live music which adapts to whatever is happening on screen. It's a very interesting concept and they have done it justice. The specific scene which I'm talking about is captivating and it increases the humour factor and gives a very interesting angle to the viewer. I recall something like this done only in Tom and Jerry and it was hilarious none the less. This concept has been used throughout the movie and it was fascinating. The songs in the movie tie-up really well with the flow of the movie and there are no unnecessary songs that take away the focus from the actual storyline. The screenplay of the movie is hilarious and tightly knit with well thought out dialogues.
Overall, it is an action-packed thriller which takes you on an unexpected adventure and in my opinion, everyone should experience this movie(at least once). I would give this movie a 4.5/5 for the amazing acting performances, the well-written dialogues and the excellent story which keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end.
